We have all been having a hard time finding new ways to connect and become more like ourselves during this time of quarantine. I have gathered a few new ideas on how I am making sure this spring 2020 turns out the way it should have always been. I think it’s important to find things that make you happy and take away the burden of being at home. I wanted to share a few to add a little pep in your step.
- Refresh your nails once a week.
- Take a break in the middle of the day for self-care.
- Read old treasure books.
- Stop binging and start creating or doing whatever you love.
- Indulge in some wine or chocolate.
- Start gardening.
- Be a writer of your own journey and start journaling.
- 2 hours without phone access, work on anything else.
- Face time family or friends.
- Try a new workout.
- Set up your workstation outside and get that vitamin D.
- Find a day and night routine that works for you.
- Sleep in on the weekends.
- Learn a new beauty routine. Master that wing liner.
- Take out once a week. One less meal to cook and clean.
- Do something nice for a stranger. Just anything simple.
- 10 min clean up with music blaring.
- Learn a new pinterest recipe,craft or DIY.
- Take to younger days and play dress up.
- Learn a new or old dance (be tik tok famous).
I am the absolute worst at taking care of myself and have definitely lost a lot of the spring in my step. I love that this list considers the whole person and gives realistic, but meaningful tips on things to do.
